Recording Studio - Day 3 & 4!πŸŽ™

We headed back to the recording studio August 8-9th! We were recording vocals this time, so we got right into working on that and got six songs done the first day! We worked from about 10-5pm with a lunch break. We were very grateful for the good progress we made. Lots of empty water bottles.😁 There was an Inspiration Quartet concert that evening about an hour away, so we headed there after the studio! We heard lots of music that day.πŸ˜„ But, we wouldn't have missed the concert for the world.😍 The studio is two hours away from our house so got an Airbnb up there. It was really nice and one of our favorite Airbnb stays so far!🀩 The dart board was very popular.😁🎯 That was the closest I succeeded in getting to the bulls eye.πŸ˜‰ I thought these drawers were ingenious! Nice storage without taking up a lot of space in the room! Sarah and I shared a room. The bed slept so good and we didn't want to leave.πŸ˜„ Back in the studio at 10am the next day! North Carolina Trip - SINGING IN THE SMOKIESπŸŽ€πŸ”

  The first weekend of July, five of us kids took a trip to North Carolina. There is a big Southern Gospel event that happens every year in the Smoky Mountains put on by the Inspirations Quartet. We had heard about it but never been before so this year we decided to go! We left at 4am Thursday morning(you can tell from the picture that some of us still wanted to be in bedπŸ˜΄πŸ˜‚), traveled straight through, and arrived around 5pm. It was really beautiful to watch the sunrise! Starting to see some mountains! The event started at 6pm that night and we were able to check into our Airbnb first. It was on top of a mountain so that was interesting.πŸ˜… Singing in the Smokies, here we COME!!!! It was really neat to see the former members of the Inspiration Quartet sing with the current group!
