Recording Studio - Day 3 & 4!🎙

We headed back to the recording studio August 8-9th! We were recording vocals this time, so we got right into working on that and got six songs done the first day! We worked from about 10-5pm with a lunch break. We were very grateful for the good progress we made.

There was an Inspiration Quartet concert that evening about an hour away, so we headed there after the studio! We heard lots of music that day.😄 But, we wouldn't have missed the concert for the world.😍
The studio is two hours away from our house so got an Airbnb up there. It was really nice and one of our favorite Airbnb stays so far!🤩
The dart board was very popular.😁🎯 That was the closest I succeeded in getting to the bulls eye.😉
I thought these drawers were ingenious! Nice storage without taking up a lot of space in the room!
Sarah and I shared a room. The bed slept so good and we didn't want to leave.😄
Back in the studio at 10am the next day!
Sarah recorded several songs with us and then enjoyed sitting with Mr. Mark in the computer room watching him do his magic.😁

It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Mark again!! Saturday was a more difficult day than Friday. There were many stressful moments and problems to work through, but God got us through each one and we were able to get the remaining five songs recorded!🙏🏻 Three of those songs are family songs, so Dad and Mom have to go now and record their parts. After that, all the recording will be done! 
"Don't Ever Give Up, Just Pray" That was my motto for the day.😊🙏🏻

Four studio days are done and most everything is recording, praise God! We are very excited to get the cds back in a few months and to see how God will use them! Thanks for following along with this journey and for your support and prayers!❤️

Family Road Trip - Missouri🚗🗺👨‍👩‍👧‍👦😁

We took a week long trip at the start of June! We were invited to perform a concert at a church's 50th anniversary in Wisconsin, and on the way we stopped by St. Louis for a couple days to visit Mom's family. It had been four years since we had taken a family trip so we were all very excited for it!😁 We rented a transit van to carry all of us and our stuff. We brought our sound equipment and it was a tight squeeze to get that and the luggage in, but we made it work😄 Packing up what we could the night before. We headed out bright and early at 7am Wednesday morning! The trip to St. Louis was about 7 hours. A few minutes after we got to Grandpa and Grandma's, the tornado sirens went off.😱 We all hurried down to the basement and thankfully it just missed us.🙏🏻 What a bang to start the trip with!😂 The next day we took a trip to the zoo! Sister Shopping Day!👧🏻👧🏻👧🏼💖🛍🛒

We girls took the day Monday and went shopping! Hobby Lobby was our first stop, of course😆, and also ran into JCPennys, Goodwill, and a health food store.  Hobby Lobby had their home decor half off so I got some new decorations for my room.😊 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 We stopped by Spring Lake Park to eat a picnic lunch! I accidentally left my phone open to the camera when I set it down on the picnic table and we realized how cool of a picture it looked.😄😍 Had to get a picture by an Air Force plane there!🤩 We went back to our childhood a little bit and tried out the play ground.😜  And that's it!
