Birthday Recap!🎂

I had my 19th birthday on the 22nd of August! I took this picture at 9:58 that morning...exactly the time I came into the world 19 years ago.😊 My mom tells me I came out crying...I guess I wanted to make sure my big opinion was heard right away.😂

We had a cleaning job that morning from 9am -1pm. It is a weekly church we clean and one of my jobs is cleaning the (big😅)fellowship hall. 

After I finish with the fellowship hall, I normally head to the back classrooms and get those done. I was going about my normal routine and walk into the last room to see this.😮 Now I've seen some pretty crazy things in this church so it wasn't entirely out of the realm of possibility that they had started teaching The Tales of Wells Fargo in Sunday School🙈😂, but I quickly figured things out with the note.😉 Sarah had gotten me the gift and left it in the room as a surprise.🥰 You really can't get any better than Wells Fargo for a western and I'm very excited to own the dvd!😁

To back up a bit: I woke up to this sitting on my desk...Amanda had sketched it for me!🥰

And the love continues with Jared bringing me some birthday balloons!

*almost* dinner catastrophe!🙈 First off, Mom realized she had left the cheese for the hash brown casserole in the car overnight so that was ruined and we had to wait for Dad to bring us some more cheese. Then, as someone was putting it into the casserole dish, the bowl slipped and fell right on the glass pan.😩 And to top it off, the main course, taco casserole, was sitting right next to the pan when all this happened.🫣 Thankfully, the glass did not fly everywhere and as we didn't see any in the casserole, we went ahead with things. It turned out to be a delicious dinner afterall!😄

One of the things I was most looking forward to for my birthday was watching the New York Yankees play a ball game!! Unfortunately, they lost without even scoring😭, but it was still fun to watch the game.😊

My favorite pitcher, Max Fried, just happened to be pitching that night...I'm still claiming that they knew it was my birthday and did that for me.😁

Neopolitan ice cream sandwiches!! First time trying them and I give them 10 stars!

I was so overwhelmed by all the messages, phone calls, cards, gifts, and love given to me by family and friends.❤️

A friend of mine has an AMAZING ability to sketch and this was her present to me!😱😍

She had sketched the actor Ronald Reagan for me last year so now I have Mr. President Reagan and the young Reagan, I love it!😍

And last but not least...a sweet scrapbook from a friend of our first meeting this year.☺️🥹🥰

A shopping trip to Hobby Lobby was one of the things I wanted to do to celebrate my birthday, so Amanda and I went with some friends the next day and had a blast!

Eating at Whataburger, my favorite place to eat right now.😁

Hobby Lobby had all their fall decor on sale so I got a few things for my room! (Warning: if you have a weakness for fall or winter decorations...Hobby Lobby is a very dangerous place right now...I wanted to literally buy everything.🙈)
