2025 Thanksgiving Recap🧡

We had a full house Thanksgiving week! Will and Brittany came Sunday the 23rd and stayed through the following Monday. We treasured every minute we had and made many great memories!

We explored the pasture/pond behind us Sunday afternoon.
The little kiddos aren't so little anymore!🥲

We played Telestrations that evening...there were several times I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.😂😂😂 We look serious in the pictures but I wasn't able to capture the hilarious times.😁

Monday morning we headed to Texarkana and spent some time at the park and shopping at TJMaxx.

Lizzy kept me busy reading books all week.🥰 She found some children's books we had about historical people like Sacagawea, Pricilla Mullins, Dolly Madison, etc. She absolutely loved learning about Sacagawea and we read that one twice.☺️

The Saturday before Thanksgiving, we had our first Thanksgiving meal at Dad's extended family get-together. (Sorry, we're not all in the picture!)

Thanksgiving Day we headed to Pap and Nana's late morning and had a big meal for lunch. 

After lunch we did a family photoshoot! I shared this picture in the previous post, and I'll share some of the others here.
I had some ideas for some sibling shots and the others were good sports about it! (The menfolk of the family aren't particularly fond of pictures.😉) I love these set up pics😁

We spent the rest of the day just hanging out and relaxing(at least, for those not keeping the littles occupied😉).

It was a very blessed day...our hearts were very full.❤️
 We ended the day with watching The Love Bug. I had only seen it once a long time ago so it was like a new movie to me...I absolutely loved it! It was too funny!😂

Friday evening we went bowling! It was the first time for Lizzy and Jack and they had a blast!
I was pretty happy about that game.😁
Lizzy and Jack enjoyed bowling but I think they enjoyed the arcade that was there a little bit better.😉
Lizzy would join me each morning for my quiet time(Bible reading time). I treasured each morning and it was so sweet to see her get excited about doing it with me.🥰 The last morning they were here(pictured above), she walked into my room and the first thing she asked after saying good morning was, "Have you had your quiet time yet?" And when I said "No", she exclaimed, "Good! Now I can do it with you!"🥹
😁



We were so sad to see them go🥲, but we made some incredible memories that we won't forget soon! And they'll be coming again at New Years to have a Christmas celebration so it won't be long till we can have some more sweet family time.❤️❤️

Family Road Trip - Missouri🚗🗺👨‍👩‍👧‍👦😁

We took a week long trip at the start of June! We were invited to perform a concert at a church's 50th anniversary in Wisconsin, and on the way we stopped by St. Louis for a couple days to visit Mom's family. It had been four years since we had taken a family trip so we were all very excited for it!😁 We rented a transit van to carry all of us and our stuff. We brought our sound equipment and it was a tight squeeze to get that and the luggage in, but we made it work😄 Packing up what we could the night before. We headed out bright and early at 7am Wednesday morning! The trip to St. Louis was about 7 hours. A few minutes after we got to Grandpa and Grandma's, the tornado sirens went off.😱 We all hurried down to the basement and thankfully it just missed us.🙏🏻 What a bang to start the trip with!😂 The next day we took a trip to the zoo! Sister Shopping Day!👧🏻👧🏻👧🏼💖🛍🛒

We girls took the day Monday and went shopping! Hobby Lobby was our first stop, of course😆, and also ran into JCPennys, Goodwill, and a health food store.  Hobby Lobby had their home decor half off so I got some new decorations for my room.😊 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 We stopped by Spring Lake Park to eat a picnic lunch! I accidentally left my phone open to the camera when I set it down on the picnic table and we realized how cool of a picture it looked.😄😍 Had to get a picture by an Air Force plane there!🤩 We went back to our childhood a little bit and tried out the play ground.😜  And that's it!
