Life Lately!π¨π©π§π¦ππ§Ήππ€
This past week has been very busy for me, but fun! John, Amanda, and Sarah made a trip to Alabama for several days which left just myself, Jared, and the parents at home. I soloed the cleaning jobs we girls normally do as teams, and tried to keep the house in order while not going to events like a baby shower and a political dinner and a concert.π I told my mom that the next time some of the fam leaves and the house is a little quieter, that I will take at least one day to enjoy it instead of going 100 mph every day like I did this time.π
We have been trying out some new recipes and this is one of them - teriyaki meatballs w/ rice, brocoli, green beans & garlic bread. I am not a fan of strong sauces like teriyaki so it wasn't a big favorite for me.π
We had this meal Friday night (Reagan's b-day) so we also had cookie bars and watched one of his movies.π

Jared and I attended Columbia County's Lincoln Day Dinner. Jared had been to a couple before but this was my first rodeo. It was really neat! We sat at a table with the Chairwoman over our district and also a candidate for Secretary of State and her son who is running for her current position of Miller County Judge.
One of our U.S. Senators, Tom Cotton, was the keynote speaker. I was disappointed that I did not get a chance to get a picture with him but it was still really neat to be in the same room with such a high ranking official.π
We came home and let Boone have some inside privileges while we watched a movie.☺️
Sunday evening Jared and I traveled to Jacksonville, AR to hear the Bontrager family in concert!
We made a Whataburger stop on the way home.π

I ran some errands this morning and stopped in at my favorite coffee shop for a smoothie.☺️ I used Amanda's car while they were gone for cleaning/errands and I loved the independency!π (I think my mom is having a hard time seeing her youngest getting so independent, thoughπ)
Thanks for stopping by!☺️ππ»
