All I Have NeededπŸ™πŸ»

I have been listening to/singing "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" on repeat here recently and it has been so uplifting and encouraging to my spirit. God's faithfulness is SO great, is it not?! Like Moses seeing the mere edge of God's glory as He passed by, even so I think we see only the edge of His unfathomable faithfulness every day of our lives. And too little we thank Him for it. He is faithful to show us mercy, to forgive our sins when we daily fail Him, to protect us, to provide for us, to guide us, to give us grace sufficient, to give us strength in temptation, and the list goes on and on.

There is one line in the song that says, "All I have needed, Thy hand hath provided." ALL - not some, not most, but ALL - I need, His hand provides for me. What an amazing promise that brings us so much peace and comfort! I shared the song "Walking Through Fire" a few posts ago and the chorus talks about the many ways God meets our needs. He's the bread that multiplies to meet our need(John 6:11"And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted."), the midnight calm in the lions den(Daniel 6:21 "O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions' mouths, so that they have not hurt me."), the Shepherd who searches and cares for His sheep(Psalm 23:1 "The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want."), the Hand that reaches out to rescue us when the waves are growing higher (Matthew 14:30-32 "But when he[Peter] saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!" And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?""), and the Fourth Man who is always there beside us when we walk through fire(Daniel 3:25 "Look!" he[Nebuchadnezzar]answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.") All I have needed, Thy hand hath provided.

Another line also says "Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow." The Lord gives us grace sufficient for each day's need and we can rejoice in hope, as Romans 12 says, knowing that whether we live or die, we will always be with the Lord.

If you haven't heard "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" in a while, here is a beautiful version for you to enjoy. Great Is Thy Faithfulness - Wes Hampton
